Who is responsible

The data controller is Meisal Media (Norwegian business reg. no. 928 659 984), operated by Helge Meisal. All personal data processing via the website media.meisal.com is carried out by Meisal Media.

What data is collected

Via the contact form:

• Name
• Email address
• Wedding date and location (optional)
• Message content

Cookies

This website does not use cookies for tracking or analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, and no third-party services that follow you across the web.

Wedding films on the site appear as previews by default. Only when you actively click "Play film" does the YouTube player load. At that point, cookies from YouTube/Google are set in order to play the video — a deliberate action from you that counts as consent. If you don't click play, no such cookies are set.

Fonts are hosted locally on media.meisal.com — no requests are sent to Google Fonts or any other third party.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Nettvett.no has a good walkthrough (in Norwegian).

Purpose and legal basis

Data from the contact form is used solely to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Retention and deletion

Email correspondence is deleted no later than two years after a collaboration ends, or within one year if no agreement was reached.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. Contact foto@meisal.com to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no).

Photographs

Photographs from your wedding are only published with your consent. This is set out in the contract signed at booking.

Changes

This policy may be updated. Material changes will be communicated by email if we have an active client relationship.
